Make maintenance a part of your department\u2019s training regimen every week. Rescue tools need regular maintenance, especially hydraulic and pneumatic tools. Make sure blades are sharp, pressure gauges work properly, and there are no leaks. You must inspect every rescue tool you use after a call and before you put them away. We cannot stress tool maintenance enough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
